I don't use Yuku much (I was an active ezboard admin and user for years, but never liked the move to yuku), so when I was logging in today, I couldn't remember which one of my two main email addresses I'd used for my account.
I first tried the one I use more, but couldn't remember my password, so I hit the reset button, and indeed, received an email with a link to reset my password. OK... I clicked on the link, typed in a new password, and logged in... BUT WAIT!!! I was NOT on MY account! I found myself logged in as Strelka (a person I remember from Brainstorm Forum)!!!
I realised that I had probably just reset HER password, and in her profile, MY email address now seems to be the registered address!
I've been all over the help/support pages.. I was going to open a ticket about this, but it requires getting a helpdesk account, and I just didn't know whose username to enter, so that was no good, either..
I actually logged out, and tried logging in with my other email address, and that was successful, so technically, I have no problem now as I can access my profile and all is good.. But what about Strelka?!? She may not be able to access her account now, if I reset her password (thinking I was resetting my own password), and if she opts to reset her password, I'll probably receive the link to do that, because her profile is now sporting my email address!
Unfortunately, I don't have her contact info, as far as I know.. I may know some people who may know her, so I'm gonna try and reach her that way, but I'm seriously unimpressed with Yuku, because obviously their accounts are not very safe at all!
